Take home a story. After being at the center of events for an entire century, a lot has happened in and around the Arnold House over the years. Just think … if only the walls could speak. What intriguing scenes would emerge from Stockholm’s bygone days. Such as when, as was rather typical at the turn of the century, wholesale merchant Bror August Danelius went all out and decided to build a house that was out of the ordinary. With thoughts of French renaissance castles in mind, architect Eric Josephson got down to work at his drawing board, after which master builder A.G. Sällström placed what was perhaps his largest order of Yxhult limestone ever. And the story of one of the city’s most distinctive buildings began.
